Mayfield Church of Christ is richly invested in the lives of some 600 families living in the urban slums in Tatalon in Manila (Philippines).

As a church we sponsor the King Solomon International Christian School and individuals within the church sponsor more than 39 students to allow them to receive a quality education,giving them an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty. It is amazing to see the difference that can be made in the lives of others when you invest yourself in their lives.

More recently, in 2010, Mayfield Church of Christ funded the establishment of the Kalusogan Clinic, a health clinic which is having a dramatic affect upon the health and wellbeing of these families.

Project Manila is about taking the love of Jesus in tangible ways to those who have little.

Perhaps the most significant aspect of this project is seen when regular teams from the church travel to Manila to work with the poor, and sleep in the slums. It is hard not to be changed by this experience.
